Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, analysis, and budgeting initiatives.
- Develop thorough financial models to bolster grants, fundraising endeavors, and strategic decision-making.
- Supervise the monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), goal-setting processes, and internal communication strategies.
- Assess financial plans for substantial capital projects and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to navigate both dilutive and non-dilutive fundraising avenues.
- Manage the business operations team, which consists of full-time and part-time members across HR, finance, recruiting, and administrative functions.
- Ensure seamless operations through effective management of essential activities.
- Foster a proactive mindset among team members to propel the organization forward.
- Engage in on-site responsibilities at the pilot facility in Alameda.
- Strong financial acumen with advanced proficiency in Excel is highly desirable.
- A collaborative, low-ego approach with readiness to undertake hands-on tasks within a startup framework.
- Exceptional organizational capabilities and keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of ensuring accountability among technical and business teams.
- Ability to construct clear and effective financial models, project management plans, and presentations to assess and advance company initiatives.
- Enthusiasm for engaging with intricate technical details.
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in finance, corporate development, or consulting.
- At least 2 years' experience in a startup environment is preferred.
- Proven experience with large-scale capital projects and CAPEX-intensive businesses.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, industrial engineering, business, engineering, or a related field.
