MegaKC, your local Kansas City General Contractor, has an opening for a Civil Estimator at our North Kansas City office! Our ideal Estimator candidate will be a self-starter, proficient in construction software, and possess the ability to coordinate and manage rapport with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and owners.

Job Responsibilities:
- Review bid documents prior to bid date (plans, specs, addenda, soil reports, etc.).
- Visit project sites and complete all pre-bid, progress reporting, and post-bid processes.
- Track and communicate with all subcontractors and vendors involved in bid process.
- Review current job productions, costs compared to bid estimate with MegaKC project manager(s).
- Updating bid status in Bid2Win software.
- Attend/participate in in-house closeout meetings with Project Team (Project Manager, Superintendent, Project Administrator, CEO, and COO).
- High school diploma or GED
- College degree is preferred but not required
- Valid state driver’s license in good standing
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Construction software proficiency, Pro-Core experience is preferred
