Job Title: Research Project Engineer & Manager

Location: Barre, VT

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to lead and manage a research project that involves the operation of advanced 3D printing equipment, including Filabot and Massive Dimension systems. This role requires both hands-on engineering work and project management, as well as collaboration with a cross-functional team to ensure the project s success. Travel will be required as part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Filabot and Massive Dimension equipment for research and production tasks.
• Lead and manage the research project, coordinating with internal teams and other company stakeholders.
• Support team members in executing project objectives, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting.
• Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
• Conduct research and development, optimizing processes for 3D printing, material extrusion, and additive manufacturing.
• Document project progress and prepare detailed reports for leadership and project stakeholders.
• Innovate and propose improvements in operational efficiency and equipment performance.
• Travel as required to support project-related activities and collaboration with partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, or similar field preferred).
• Experience in additive manufacturing.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate teams and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with CAD software and 3D modeling is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as part of the role.
