Position Overview

The position involves contributing to the development of technical documents, designing structural components for ground-related projects, and supporting overall construction efforts. This opportunity includes involvement in multi-disciplinary projects within the development sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create designs for structural systems related to soil and foundation stability;
  • Provide assistance in coordinating project activities and supporting project oversight;
  • Supervise fieldwork, manage technical investigations, and conduct site inspections as required;
  • Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to project progress;
  • Maintain necessary field documentation, including daily logs and reports;
  • Perform field-related tasks when needed; and
  • Take on additional responsibilities as directed.

This is an on site position (Monday through Friday) based out of the Irvine, CA area

Skills and Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as civil or geotechnical engineering, is required, with further specialization preferred;
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in field investigations and construction oversight;
  • FE/EIT certification is desirable;
  • Experience in coordinating fieldwork, creating reports, and drafting specifications;
  • Practical experience with ground-based construction, support systems, and load-bearing analysis;
  • Familiarity with various technical software tools used in the industry;
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities;
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively;
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver s license are required for travel to project sites and meetings.
