  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.

Position: Controls System Technician

Location: Sacramento, CA

Duration: 12 month contract

Pay Rate: $43-$48/hr.

Must Haves:

  • 1-2 years' full time experience as technician
  • Experience troubleshooting, programming, calibrating, repairing, modifying, and installing equipment
  • AA or AS technology degree dealing with instrumentation, computers, or electronics OR related work experience in place of degree
  • Basic understanding of instrumentation terminology
  • Ability to prepare and write documents

Plusses:

  • Experience within wastewater or large sized industry

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking a self-motivated control system technician. The Control Systems Technicians maintain and repair pneumatic, chemical, electric, and electronic components, analyze equipment including computers, networks, and PLCs. Most equipment is in an industrial setting. Typical duties include:

  • Troubleshooting, programming, calibrating, repairing, modifying, installing of equipment
  • Working with industrial process measurement equipment, gas detectors, protective monitoring and computerized control systems
  • Respond to emergency maintenance needs
  • Preparing written documents
