Contract Position

$27.17 - $32.17 / Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting of prototype electro-mechanical systems and specialized equipment to advance mission-critical defense technologies.
  • Assist with the design, testing, modification, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuits, laser/light devices, and specialized test equipment.
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Build, calibrate, troubleshoot, and adjust tools, equipment, and systems.
  • Conduct, analyze, and document experiments to define process parameters and recommend improvements.
  • Implement solutions for process improvements and document results.
  • Design and construct custom tooling and fixtures to support unique tasks.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and recommend resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a relevant technical role.
  • Proficiency with fabrication tools and ability to build complex hardware.
  • Strong knowledge of technical theory and hands-on engineering processes
