General Position Description

The Data and Insight Analyst will be responsible for supporting internal stakeholders across the LATAM sales organization for the Arva Intelligence's (Arva's) next-generation analytics platform based on proven, scalable cloud-based technologies. The Data and Insight Analyst will be a bridge between LATAM sales / customer success, and science and technology teams to retain and promote the client experience by providing data analytics, data visualization and software development support and enhancing Arva's SaaS product utilizing Python, SQL and AWS development tools.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with LATAM sales/customer success and operations teams (technology and science) to provide data analytic, report writing, software development support and enhancements for customer requests for reporting, new features, optimization and integration capabilities to support evolving business needs.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, PostGIS and No-SQL to support and enhance data-driven applications that leverage large datasets.
• Use Python and AWS development tools to support client requests and optimize application performance.
• Create queues and data pipelines to effectively analyze uploaded agricultural data in a timely manner.
• Work with GitHub Issues and repositories along with continuous integration (CI) tools to automate the build, test, and deployment process.

Key Competencies / Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Environmental Sciences, Agronomy or related field OR 3+ years ag/tech experience, preferably Python development of complex web applications and/or SaaS platforms.
• Proficient in Python development and working with large, complex data sets.
• Strong understanding of LATAM agricultural, livestock, climate, and/or environmental sustainability
• Knowledge of web, mobile, data, and infrastructure technologies.
• Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• A strong innovative mindset, adapting well with emerging technologies.
• Strategic thinking and problem solving with a high level of emotional intelligence.

Employment Eligibility

Only applicants currently eligible to work in the United States will be considered for this position.

The pay range for this role is:

70,000 - 90,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
