Job Description
We are seeking Water Meter Technicians to join our team in Southeast Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of water meters for residential and commercial properties. Key Responsibilities
- Install, replace, and maintain water meters in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and record water meter data accurately.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning meters or water meter-related issues.
- Conduct field tests and inspections to ensure the accuracy of meter readings.
- Maintain records of work performed, including reports on installation and repairs.
- Respond to customer inquiries or issues related to water usage or meter readings.
- Adhere to safety protocols and work in compliance with local water utility regulations.
- Prior experience with water meter installation and repair is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and tools is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Field-based position with travel throughout Southeast Florida.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment, perform physical tasks, and work in confined spaces as needed.
