Silicon Verification Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a Silicon Verification Engineer to focus on hardware modeling and ensure quality design across product development. This role involves developing and executing test plans, performing functional and system tests, and actively participating in specification and design reviews. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in C/C++ modeling within a Linux environment and have a background in handling large projects independently from start to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test plans and procedures, performing functional, stress, and system testing.
• Identify test tool requirements and contribute to specification and design reviews.
• Develop compression models in Linux; potential involvement in non-compression IP.
• Perform architectural C/C++ bit-exact modeling and validate model behavior.
• Assess architectural model performance and behavior.
• Utilize MATLAB for testing as needed.
• Record, track, and communicate bug findings and resolution steps.

Skills:

• Proficiency in C/C++ with recent experience, especially for C model testing.
• Experience working in a Linux environment; familiarity with Windows is also advantageous.
• Strong understanding of hardware architecture and hardware modeling.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for project and team interaction.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience Required: 10+ years in the field, with a focus on hardware modeling.
• Education: Degree preferred but not required.
• Disqualifiers: Lack of recent, relevant experience in core hard skills.
• Ideal Candidate: Demonstrated expertise in hardware modeling and experience with end-to-end project completion.

Top 3 Must-Have Skills:

1. 8+ years of experience in C/C++.
2. 8+ years in both Linux and Windows environments.
3. 4+ years of hardware modeling experience.
