Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry is seeking a S2P Process Lead to join their team in a dynamic environment.



  • About the Opportunity:

  • Hybrid or Remote: Hybrid to HQ in Parsippany, NJ

Essential Duties:



  • Leverage an in-depth understanding of procurement processes, best practices, and industry trends to align procurement strategies with the ERP implementation.

  • Utilize strategic sourcing techniques, including category management, supplier evaluation, and negotiation, to assess the ERP system's procurement module and support its configuration. Ensure that this configuration adheres to ERP best practices, promoting optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness within the procurement process.

  • Apply expertise in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) to establish and maintain strong supplier relationships during the ERP implementation, focusing on quality, cost-effectiveness, and performance alignment.

  • Conduct comprehensive spend analysis within the ERP system to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure full utilization of the ERP's procurement functionality.

  • Manage contracts effectively using the ERP's contract management features, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and minimizing risk in line with ERP implementation goals.

  • Support the design and configuration of procurement processes within SAP S/4HANA.

  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on new system functionalities and best practices.

  • Assist in data migration and validation to ensure accurate procurement records in the new system.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.

  • Monitor system performance post-implementation and provide ongoing support to users.

  • Support security role mapping activities.

  • Assist the Supply Chain Organization in implementing role changes.

  • Collaborate with the Director of STP ERP processes to finalize end-to-end process design.

  • Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, end-users, suppliers, and stakeholders during the ERP implementation, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with ERP objectives.

  • Support change management efforts within the ERP procurement modules, driving successful implementation of ERP-related changes and securing stakeholder buy-in for ERP adoption.

  • Combine a deep understanding of existing Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes with the ability to envision and plan for future improvements within the context of the ERP system, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with ERP objectives.

  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within the ERP system to validate its procurement functionalities, ensuring they meet the requirements of the ERP implementation, and develop unique testing scenarios as needed.

  • Maintain a problem-solving orientation to continuously drive value across the organization.

  • Act as a Champion of Change, supporting the GPO team in driving organizational changes.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in procurement processes and systems, preferably with SAP S/4HANA.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with change management principles and training methodologies.
