Due to Federal Governement Security Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship and Active DOD Secret Clearance
PRISM seeks a Chief Security Architect who will lead the development and implementation of our organization's security architecture. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the security and integrity of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Security Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain a robust security architecture that aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.
Technology Research: Research emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities to enhance security posture.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of security engineers and architects.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders, engineers, and system administrators to achieve security goals.
Security Standards: Develop and enforce security standards, policies, and procedures.
Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts and conduct post-incident analysis.
Vulnerability Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Security Tooling: Manage and optimize security tools and technologies.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Reporting: Generate regular security reports and metrics.
Documentation: Create and maintain security documentation, including architecture diagrams, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret with the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
15+ years of experience in IT and/or cybersecurity
5+ years of experience in security architecture and implementation
5+ years of experience in project management
5+ years of experience in IT modernization
Strong understanding of cybersecurity tools and technologies
Experience leading complex security infrastructure projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
CISSP certification
- Active DoD Top Secret
Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Knowledge of automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell)
Experience with security frameworks (NIST, CIS)
