Brooksource is hiring a Software Engineer (UI) to join our Fortune 500 client s team in Milwaukee, WI. This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. We are developing a user portal that enables dynamic modification of email communications and notifications related to insurance plans, triggered by significant life events, thereby automating processes that previously required manual updates.
This project involves building a new UI to facilitate end-user self sufficiency for making changes. The app will help provide structure and guard rails while maintaining integrity within the content factory that produces, delivers, and stores digital content. The goal is to modernize the data structure, create new APIs, and streamline the onboarding process to make the system more data-driven and efficient.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement dynamic user interfaces using React and Next.js, ensuring a responsive and engaging user experience on the new user portal.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of new features.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a frontend developer.
- Proficiency in React.js.
- Proficiency in Next.js, preferred.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
