PRISM seeks Network Administrators and Engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures to support critical business operations. This role requires a deep understanding of network technologies and protocols to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive network plans to meet current and future business needs, considering factors such as scalability, performance, and security.
  • Network Implementation: Design, implement, and configure network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Network Maintenance: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventative maintenance measures to ensure optimal network uptime and availability.
  • Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect the network from threats, including intrusion detection, access control, and vulnerability management.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, such as systems engineers and application developers, to ensure seamless integration and support.

Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in network administration - engineering.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.).
  • Experience with network hardware and software (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability for on-call support as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Knowledge of automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.).
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIP.
