Cyber Security Lead

Experience: - 8+ Years

Location: - Lake Forest, CA (4 days work from client location) / (If relocation have to relocate from Day 1)

Educational Qualifications: - Bachelor s or Master s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience in Firewalls, IDS, IPS, PAM integration
  • Experience in Antivirus, Endpoint security, and XDR solutions
  • Experience in security product / tools evaluation and selection of the best suitable candidate
  • Network Security
  • IT Infrastructure Security
  • Project / Team Management
  • Should have good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Information technology & information security audit and consulting
  • Cyber Threat Intelligence

  • Experience in healthcare or medical devices
  • FDA cybersecurity risk management framework (RMF)
  • Those with relevant Network Security Certifications will be given preference. Responsibilities
  • Connect with OEM vendors and find their right channel partners/reseller of the Security appliances.
  • Ensure time bound closure of procurement process by vendors.
  • Get the vendors to deliver the Security Appliances hardware on a timely basis.
  • Understand the product documentation to Identify and shortlist the most suitable configuration items for security appliances and solutions.
  • Prepare the medical device in the lab setup with the latest software release with default settings and remote access with the help of the Tech support and Product team.
  • Execute Performance Testing on the medical device before and after setting up the Security appliances.
  • Setup the Security Appliances in the lab.
  • Configure the Security Appliances with optimized settings and confirm the impact on the functionality of the medical device through Sanity testing.
  • Provide deliverables on a time-to-time basis including but not limited to project & activity plans, Configuration Guides, Test Plans templates, Test Report templates for Security appliances, and V&V reports for PAM and Archiving solutions.
  • Obtain the generic and specific system & network details of Family of Medical devices from customer s stakeholders.
  • Identify the suitability of the security appliances for the family of medical devices.
  • Discovery of solutions for security appliances, PAM integration, and Archiving solutions.
  • Work with IT and solution vendors to integrate the PAM and Archiving solutions.
  • Provide status updates on a weekly basis.
