Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Planning:

  • Define product vision, roadmap, and specifications.

Product Development:

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure product development aligns with market requirements and timelines.
  • Manage the product development life cycle from concept to launch, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
  • Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation processes.

Product Launch and Marketing:

  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to create promotional materials, training programs, and sales tools.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical support to the sales team and customers.

Customer Engagement:

  • Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and identify opportunities for product improvements (Voice of Customer).

  • Address customer inquiries, issues, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Product Life-cycle Management:

  • Monitor product performance and market trends to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Provide pricing and profitability studies and create sales targets that support the marketing strategy.
  • Implement product enhancements and updates based on customer feedback and market analysis.
  • Manage product discontinuation and transition plans as needed.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with supply chain, finance, and operations teams to ensure product availability and cost management.
  • Coordinate with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure all products meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with international teams to align global product strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the compaction, construction equipment, or heavy machinery industry.

  • Strong technical background with knowledge of soil and asphalt compaction machines and related construction equipment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing products from concept to launch.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
