Job Title: Solution Architect - AWS
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions that align with our business needs. The Technical Architect will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of projects, ensuring that the technical design and implementation meet the highest standards of scalability, security, and performance. You will collaborate closely with developers, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Architecture Design:
Responsible for the design and development of technical architecture solutions for AWS services, platforms, or infrastructure
Define system architecture, including software, hardware, and network components, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
Recommend and define AWS services as bet fit for architectural requirements at hand.
Define and create logical , technical and security architectures documents.
Collaborate with development teams to create detailed design documents, including data models.
  1. Technology Leadership:
Act as a technical expert, providing guidance and mentorship to development teams on best practices for software development, system integration, and architecture.

  1. System Integration:
Ensure seamless integration of various systems and technologies within the solution, including third-party platforms, databases, and external APIs.
Identify integration challenges and propose solutions to ensure that systems work together efficiently.
  1. Performance and Scalability:
Design architectures that ensure performance optimization, scalability, and high availability.
Conduct performance tuning, load testing, and monitoring to identify bottlenecks and optimize systems accordingly.
  1. Security
Implement security best practices in system design, including encryption, access controls, and secure communication.
  1. Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure that high-level architecture is properly implemented on a technical level.
Communicate technical concepts and design rationale to non-technical stakeholders.
  1. Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system configurations, and design rationale.
Document technical processes, standards, and best practices for future reference.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant experience.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in software development, IT infrastructure, or technical architecture roles.
Proven experience as a Technical Architect or a similar role in designing and implementing large-scale technical solutions.
Past experience in life science domain.

Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect (desirable not mandatory).
Key Skills:
Strong experience on AWS architecture and services (Compute, Storage, Autoscaling, Networking, Security , IAM)
Strong understanding of system architecture principles, including fault tolerance, scalability, performance.
Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL), networking, and security architecture.
Knowledge on developing Microservice on AWS platform highly desirable though not mandatory.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
