Untrap aims to address the gap of insights available to Managed Service Providers (MSP) from their service desk ticketing system. We help MSPs better understand the information locked in their key business systems and enable them to take definitive actions that will save costs and generate new revenues.

We aim to revolutionize the MSP industry by providing proactive insights captured in the ticketing system that allow the MSP owners to make better decisions from their data.

As a Technical Co-Founder at Untrap, you'll play a pivotal role in building the technology that drives the business forward, transforming data into actionable insights that fuel growth. Your contributions will directly impact the foundational technology we are building at Untrap to help clients optimize their IT infrastructure and service delivery. You'll be part of a small, collaborative team dedicated to driving meaningful business outcomes, with the unique opportunity to shape the MSP s technical landscape from the ground up, ensuring scalability and innovation for the future.

As a Technical Co-Founder at Untrap, you will be at the forefront of developing our platform tailored for MSPs, taking on strategic and hands-on responsibilities that directly influence the efficiency and profitability of managed service providers. Your work will enable MSPs to unlock and interpret the data within their key business systems, allowing them to take decisive actions that save costs and generate new revenue streams. You'll join a small, collaborative leadership team dedicated to making a meaningful impact, with the opportunity to shape the future of our technology and company culture from the ground up.

• Lead Feature Development: Design, build, and deploy critical features of the platform from initial concept to final implementation.
• Collaborate on Technical Roadmap: Define and execute the technical roadmap, including architectural decisions and technology selection.
• Drive Technical Excellence: Champion best practices in software development, focusing on clean, maintainable, and scalable code to ensure the platform can grow with our clients' needs.
• Full-stack Engineering: Utilize your expertise in front-end and back-end technologies to build a seamless and robust platform.

• AI Integration: Apply generative AI technologies, such as LLMs (GPT, LLaMa, Claude), and integrate them with tools like OpenAI, Azure AI, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Vertex to provide intelligent data insights and automation.
• Data Engineering & Management: Leverage your data science and data engineering expertise to manage and process large volumes of unstructured data. Develop robust data pipelines, implement scalable storage solutions, and ensure data integrity and security.
• Strategic Leadership: Take on a leadership role within the company, helping to shape the team culture, set technical standards, and build the product and engineering team
• Agile Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, taking on multiple roles and driving impact within a small, dynamic team.
• Support fundraising, including pitching to investors, securing venture capital, and managing investor relations.

We're selecting the ideal tech stack for our platform, focusing on applying existing generative AI technologies. This role is for you if you excel at turning complex AI requirements into innovative solutions. Key skills include:

• Generative AI Expertise: Experience with LLMs like GPT, LLaMa, and Claude.
• Data Engineering & Management: Proven ability to manage and process large volumes of unstructured data, develop scalable data pipelines, and ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Data Science Proficiency: Strong background in data analysis, modelling, and leveraging data-driven insights to inform AI solutions tailored for MSPs.
• APIs: Proficiency in Python and APIs from OpenAI, Azure AI, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Vertex.
• Full-stack Deployment: Balance between rapid prototyping and full-stack deployment.
• AI Solution Development: Proven track record in developing real-world AI solutions.
• Coding & Prompt/Flow Engineering: Skill in integrating AI services and APIs.

• Experience in the IT managed services industry or corporate IT network operations/ service desk (any ticketing system)

• Knowledge of corporate IT Network Admin best practices and ITIL frameworks
