Job Summary

Performs a variety of duties to support administration of accounting department.

Job Responsibilities

  • Stays current with all Human Resources (HR) policies specific to employee payments.
  • Assists with timecard maintenance and problem resolution.
  • Tracks assigned statistical reports.
  • Collects and prepares assigned bank deposits and manages bank receipts.
  • Counts and reconciles petty cash box.
  • Establishes and maintains filing systems.
  • Enters information from a variety of sources into computer database(s).
  • Reviews general ledger (GL) daily to confirm posted payments.
  • Reviews system for invoices and check requests.
  • Prepares monthly sales tax forms, submit check requests, and prepares to mail.
  • Maintains and distributes assigned reports including payments received.
  • Responds timely and accurately to internal requests for information.
  • Prepares boxes for off-site storage.
  • Sorts and delivers mail.
  • Orders and stocks supplies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher required upon hire
  • No experience required
  • No licensure/certification/registration required
