IT Technician

C.T. Male Associates, a multi-discipline engineering, architectural, and land surveying firm based in the Capital Region, has a full-time opportunity for an IT Technician in our Latham, NY office.

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining personnel computers and associated peripherals, while providing support to our dynamic IT Team. This is an in-office role, with rare and occasional travel to support branch offices. Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common problems.
• Updates hardware and software components as required.
• Provides users with technical support.
• Maintains network users, user environment, directories, printing operations, and basic, low-tier tasks supporting network security.
• Diagnoses and solves hardware problems.
• Utilizes vendor relationships as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• One (1) year minimum of related experience.
• Experience with networks preferred.
• Knowledge of operating systems and troubleshooting software such as Microsoft Office programs.
• Valid driver's license.

Pay Range: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
