Role Overview

This position combines marketing, lead generation, client intake, and junior advisor responsibilities to drive business growth and support client acquisition. The role involves executing marketing campaigns, nurturing leads, and assisting Senior Advisors with client onboarding and initial financial assessments. Additionally, the candidate will provide support in financial planning, client relationship management, and contribute to the firm's overall thought leadership and market presence.

Job Description

  • Assist BCap Wealth with lead generation and prospecting by developing and executing effective marketing strategies to attract and engage potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement digital marketing campaigns, social media strategies, and email marketing to promote the firm's services and drive client acquisition.
  • Support the Senior Advisor with client intake, including scheduling consultations, preparing documentation, and assisting with onboarding new clients into the firm’s system.
  • Conduct initial financial needs analysis to gather information for personalized client profiles and prepare clients for meetings with Senior Advisors.
  • Work closely with clients to answer basic inquiries, provide relevant information, and ensure their needs are met during the initial phases of financial planning.
  • Generate and nurture leads by creating marketing content such as blogs, newsletters, and educational materials to highlight the firm’s expertise and services.
  • Manage lead tracking through CRM tools, ensuring that every lead is followed up promptly and moved through the client intake pipeline effectively.
  • Assist in portfolio management by preparing reports, conducting market research, and presenting preliminary insights to Senior Advisors for client meetings.
  • Develop marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content, that align with the firm's brand and support client intake processes.
  • Stay informed on market trends, financial products, and regulatory changes to contribute to marketing content and client-facing communications.
  • Participate in business development activities, including attending client meetings, seminars, and networking events, to build relationships and support the firm's growth initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations in both marketing efforts and client intake processes, including maintaining necessary licenses and certifications.
  • Contribute to thought leadership by generating insightful market commentary, newsletters, and social media content to help educate clients on market trends and portfolio implications.

Key Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients and gather detailed financial information.
  • Knowledge of marketing and lead generation techniques, including SEO, social media, email campaigns, and CRM tools.
  • Basic financial analysis and advisory skills, with the ability to conduct client needs assessments and support wealth management processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts and marketing projects simultaneously.
  • Strong sales orientation, comfortable with lead generation and nurturing prospects through a client intake pipeline.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a BDR, sales, or similar role, preferably within the financial services or related sales industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation targets.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
