CorVel Corporation, a leading provider of health management and billing technology is looking for an energetic Sr. Systems Administrator. This Sr. Systems Administrator will be part of the Enterprise Service and Device Management Team, with a focus on managing all aspects of CorVel s implementation of the Windows 10 Hardened Systems.

This is a remote position within the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area, with occasional in office support required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and maintain Secured Windows 10 Workstations.
  • Create and maintain Windows 10 Virtual Desktops.
  • Provide direct employee support for Windows 10 Hardened Systems.
  • Package and update enterprise software for Windows 10 Hardened Systems,
  • Perform vulnerability remediations on Workstations, VMs and Servers,
  • Create, maintain, design, build and support documentation.
  • Perform as project lead and product owner.
  • Mentor peers and collaborate across teams.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Required:

  • Advanced experience (5+ years) Managing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and Endpoint Configuration Manager.
  • Advanced experience (5+ years) in desktop operating system image design and configuration
  • Experience with creating PowerShell scripts to manage, configure, gather information, and remediate servers and end user devices.
  • Deep knowledge of modern Windows Operating Systems, including Windows 10.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to respond to changing priorities.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks by deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge/experience with Microsoft s PAW / SAW technology a plus.
  • Experiencing managing SCCM OSD and/or MDT.
  • Experience with Microsoft Autopilot.
  • Experience implementing application whitelisting using Windows AppLocker or WDAC.
  • Experience with Windows Hyper-V running on Windows 10.
  • Experience implementing system hardening using Windows Security Center guidance.
  • Experience with SQL management.
  • Experience with Microsoft AVD
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skillset.
  • Experience with Windows operating system performance tuning.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • College Degree, Microsoft Certification, or relevant work experience.

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $67,086 $111,634
