  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Systems Engineer

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite 1-2 times per month, with potential for increased onsite presence)

Duration: 6 months (Contract-to-Hire)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Windows systems administration and a passion for automation. This role requires hands-on experience in data center environments, including server and storage deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and configure Windows servers and storage systems in a large-scale data center environment.
  • Automate routine tasks and infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to servers, networks, and storage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Must-Haves:
    • 5+ years of experience in Windows systems administration
    • Strong understanding of Active Directory
    • Hands-on experience with data center operations, including rack and stack
    • 4+ years of experience deploying and configuring servers and storage platforms
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting server, network, and storage hardware
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Ansible or Terraform experience
  • Nice-to-Haves:
    • Experience in financial, insurance, or healthcare industries
    • Knowledge of Linux systems administration
