This is ideally a direct hire role. May consider contract to hire. While the job title is lead- this individual will have Managerial responsibilities. They will be the SME for finance and the supply chain modules of Workday. We are looking for techno/functional individuals who have been a part of numerous new implementations of Workday, not just a module upgrade/release. This could be someone out of a consulting environment background.

Job Summary:
On behalf of one of our healthcare clients: Client is looking for a Finance and Supply Chain Management Application Lead for a full time perm direct hire remote role.
This person will manage Workday s suite of Finance and Supply Chain Management applications.
This role will serve as the subject matter expert for Workday Finance and Supply Chain Management. This role will also lead a team of finance analysts, supply chain analysts and report writers. Primary responsibilities include the design and configuration of Workday in the areas of the foundation data model, core accounting, supplier and customer accounts, expense management, banking and settlement, projects, grants, budgets, procurement, inventory, sourcing and contracts.
Role includes cross-application configuration of business processes and report administration and will be responsible for case management tier operating model by partnering with other Workday application leaders in a team environment. This role reports directly to the Director of Workday Applications and will collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the system.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead architect of the implementation and ongoing management of Workday Finance and Supply Chain Management suite of applications.
- Collaborate with HR, Supply Chain Management, Finance, and Technical teams to gather requirements and design solutions that bring value to the client. .
- Interacts with internal and external stakeholders to foster positive and productive relationships.
- Subject matter expert who oversees the configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday updates and enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Workday system.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Provide input to training programs for stakeholders to maximize the use of Workday functionalities.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external consultants as needed.
- Stay current with Workday updates and industry best practices to continuously improve Finance and Supply Chain management processes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of Workday analysts.
- Assigns and coordinates team resources to meet group goals.
- Coordinate and ensure proper change control processes are followed.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 2 5 years of Workday experience specifically in Finance and Supply Chain Management, preferably with a healthcare provider or higher education.
- Demonstrable successful Workday ERP implementation project and optimization experience in Finance and Supply Chain Management
- Technical and functional expertise with Workday
- Experience successfully delivering technology projects.
- Ability to analyze and implement processes to enhance stakeholder experience.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate and manage in a matrix organization with multiple business partners and IT teams
- Workday certifications desirable or equivalent experience
