Job Title: Senior Hardware Engineer - Data Center Infrastructure

Contract Term: 1 year

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to manage and maintain our enterprise-level data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our diverse hardware environment including servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise server infrastructure including Dell PowerEdge servers (R740, R730xd series)
- Support and troubleshoot EMC storage systems, including NL400 series and X410 platforms
- Maintain and optimize Cisco UCS infrastructure, including B200 blade servers and associated chassis
- Configure and maintain Cisco networking equipment, including Nexus series switches and fabric interconnects
- Monitor and maintain HP Enterprise storage solutions
- Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and preventive maintenance
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate hardware support under various SLA requirements (5x9xNBD, 7x24x4, 7x24xNBD)
- Maintain detailed documentation of hardware configurations and maintenance procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical system support

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise hardware support and maintenance
- Strong experience with Dell Enterprise server platforms
- Demonstrated expertise with EMC storage systems
- Proven experience with Cisco UCS platform and blade server environments
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco networking equipment, particularly Nexus series switches
- Experience with QLogic InfiniBand switching infrastructure
- Certification in Cisco networking (CCNA Data Center minimum, CCNP preferred)
- Dell certifications (Dell EMC Certified Associate or higher)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with enterprise-level SLAs and vendor management

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with HP Enterprise storage platforms
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi)
- ITIL certification
- Experience with data center infrastructure management tools
- Project management experience
- EMC storage certifications
- Experience with high-performance computing environments

- Ability to work in a data center environment
- May require occasional evening and weekend work for maintenance windows

Schedule
- Full-time position
- Must be available for on-call rotation
- Some flexibility in schedule required for maintenance windows
