Summit Technologies, Inc. is actively seeking a Consultant/Program Analyst to serve as a liaison and support to The Navy s Family Readiness Program, Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS). The ideal candidate should be an independent self-starter, able to create deliverables and participate in cross functional teams across military health enterprise. You will support the Navy Medicine program lead. This is a hybrid position, requiring up to 2 days on-site, and is located in Falls Church, VA. Candidates must have active DoD secret security clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the on-site Coordinators and Case Liaisons as a subject matter expert for the program which includes policy interpretation, compliance, and reporting.
  • Provide program support for early intervention programs.
  • Assist families with Developmental requirements and Special Education requirements.
  • Aid families with Accessibility/Adaptive equipment.
  • Ensure families receive Assistive Technology devices and services.
  • Duties include involvement in high-level program inquiries and ensuring policies are in accordance with government guidelines.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 3 years minimum experience with Individuals with Disability Education Act (IDEA) services including Early Intervention and Related Services.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Excellent skills in multitasking, prioritization and planning, schedule management, and the coordination of complex executive functions.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Preferred experience in a military health environment and an understanding of the military organization.
  • Familiarity with data collection and analysis through a compilation of multiple sources.
  • Understanding of Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS).

Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Experience with Special Needs Program Management Information System (SNPMS).
  • Understanding of military environment.

Education:

  • College degree in Allied Health, Special Education, or an associated discipline.

Security Clearance:

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
