Job Description

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to organize, direct, and manage all aspects of contract operational support functions across multiple related project tasks or task orders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to teams of contractor personnel deployed across multiple locations, ensuring the successful delivery of services and maintaining a strong contractor interface with senior-level stakeholders within the customer s organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Organize, direct, and manage program operations involving multiple, concurrent project tasks or task orders.

Provide strategic leadership and direction to cross-functional teams at various locations to ensure all tasks are executed efficiently and meet customer requirements.

Develop, maintain, and manage strong relationships with senior-level customers, acting as the primary contractor interface.

Oversee the planning and execution of program activities, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and performance requirements.

Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) and other project management methodologies to track project performance, budget, and deliverables.

Ensure accurate and timely management reporting, including risk management and mitigation strategies, performance metrics, and other program-related documentation.

Monitor task execution and provide updates and reports to both internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with senior management to provide overall program direction, define goals, and resolve operational challenges.

Lead and mentor project management staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree (BA/BS) in a related field.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in project management, task monitoring, EVM, or management reporting.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) certification is required.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale programs and multiple project teams across various locations.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, with expertise in EVM and other performance tracking tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interface with senior-level customer representatives and build strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Experience working within a federal government or defense contracting environment is a plus.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience managing large, complex contracts or task orders for federal or DoD customers.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Project, Visio, and other project management software.
