  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary
Sony Music is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nashville. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cross-platform data migration, pipeline development, and technical documentation. You will work closely with product managers, business analysts, and solutions architects to design and implement robust data solutions that drive our business forward.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and solutions architects to develop technical designs and solutions, particularly in AWS and ETL processes.
  • Create and maintain data pipelines to support data replication across multiple applications and platforms.
  • Automate and optimize data processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Assess, diagnose, and remediate development issues and problems as they arise.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring the delivery of well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
  • Build reusable components and libraries for future use, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, data flows, database mappings, data dictionaries, and ERDs.
  • Promote collaboration and teamwork within geographically distributed development teams.
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in cross-platform data migration, specifically between AWS and Azure.
  • 3-5 years of experience in creating and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python, NodeJS, SQL, and NoSQL.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka, Airflow, and AWS services (Athena, Lambda, S3).
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
