WESTconsin Credit Union, a leader among financial service providers, has two exciting opportunities for Information Security Specialists to join our IT Security Team.
As an Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and responding to level one IT Security logs, dashboards, and alerts while helping protect the Credit Union from intrusions and internal threats. Will be first level support to our end users on a variety of IT Security systems and processes.
This hybrid eligible position is based in Menomonie, WI requiring occasional onsite office schedule. Incumbent must reside in WI or MN and ideally within 60 minutes of Menomonie.

As an Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and responding to level one IT Security logs, dashboards, and alerts while helping protect the Credit Union from intrusions and internal threats. Will be first level support to our end users on a variety of IT Security systems and processes.

Primary Responsibilities
- Provides first level technical support for WESTconsin Credit Union IT Security Systems
- Monitors logs, dashboard, syslog, anti-virus, and user activity for anomalies and escalate concerns as necessary
- Tracks, researches, and resolves system problems to ensure timely resolution, and escalates issues IT Security Analyst as needed
- Supports departments and coordinates risk and user access reviews
- Monitors and manages vulnerabilities and patching throughout our infrastructure
- Assists in the management of IT Security software and systems alongside IT Security Analyst
- Supports document gathering for audit and exams
- Maintains documentation for IT Security
- Remains abreast of cybersecurity news and trends
- Associate degree from two-year college or technical school or two years of related is preferred
- Coursework, training or related experience in Cybersecurity preferred
