POSITION DESCRIPTION
THIS IS A TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYPosition Summary:
Tidal Basin, the leading experts in preparedness and disaster recovery, has an opportunity for a dynamic, adaptable, and skilled surge recruiter to join our Resource Management team! The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable professional with high volume recruiting experience for both temporary and corporate roles. This is a temporary, as needed, position and the ideal candidate must be able to work, evenings, and weekends. Must be able to work during high volume, surge/mass recruitment initiatives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include:
Essential Job Functions:
The candidate will perform the following essential functions:
  • Perform full-cycle recruitment duties including but not limited to: sourcing, when directed, screening and interviewing candidates, conducting thorough intake calls with hiring managers, updating candidates on their application status, and providing updates to management regularly on requisition status.
  • Work evenings and weekends to meet surge hiring needs.
  • Negotiate offers with potential employees.
  • Perform advanced BOOLEAN search techniques for various level roles when directed.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for both current and potential roles that fit the needs of the organization.
  • Adhere to all hiring business processes and fully utilize the ATS maintaining data integrity.
  • Complete all required training.

  • Must have Boolean search experience
  • Ability to work remotely and independently
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to “think outside the box” and be creative on searches in challenging markets

  • Adaptable to changing needs and project dynamics
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet surge efforts
Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
  • Preferred experience with contact center hiring.
  • Preferred experience FEMA grant programs.
  • Preferred experience with technology hiring.
