Job Description

As an IT System Administrator at AccumTech, you will work as part of a small team responsible for managing and maintaining end-user computing across the organization as well as supporting our physical/virtual/cloud infrastructure. Your primary goal will be to ensure a seamless, secure, and efficient computing environment for our employees and software as a service applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Active Directory, O365 user accounts, permissions, licenses, email, anti-spam, and anti-virus applications
  • Deploy, manage, and maintain end-user devices
  • Install, configure, and provide technical support of end user PCs, peripherals, network connectivity, and Office 365 applications
  • Install, configure, and manage network equipment such as firewalls, routers, switches, and printers
  • Install, configure, and manage physical and virtual server hardware and network environments
  • Assist in the management of Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve end-user computing strategies and initiatives
  • Create system guidelines and manuals for the organization
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, Desktop Engineer, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft server environments and domain management
    • Active Directory, Azure Active Directory/EntraID, Office 365, Exchange, Sharepoint, Powershell, and Windows 10/11
  • Experience with Cisco and Fortinet networking devices
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Qualifications

  • Relevant professional certifications are a plus
  • Linux system administration
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Intune, Autopilot
  • Experience managing virtual environments and systems
  • Containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Security best practices and procedures
  • HIPAA Compliance
