RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As part of a highly visible team responsible for developing enterprise programming that drives behavior around risk, controls, remediation, and testing, the Instructional eLearning Designer for Risk and Controls Enhancement will play a key role in ensuring our partners are equipped to manage risk.
  • Effectively consult with work stream leads and subject matter experts to understand the business requirements and get to the root of the learning need(s).
  • Collaboratively create and implement of a portfolio of Risk and Control development solutions that yield the greatest benefit to Northern Trust.
  • Set the bar for innovative leaning design ensuring internally designed and purchased solutions are relevant, fresh, and engaging across a range of digital learning mediums.
  • Manage learning project plans through the ADDIE life cycle. Expected to take the initiative to conceptualize and lead experimental projects in consultation with leaders/experts. You will be provided with guidance on determining methods and procedures for new assignments.
  • Continually assess programs against expectations and processes and recommend/implement changes that drive efficiencies and tighter integration with other workstreams/programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Program design and development skills (assessment strategies, instructional design, adult learning approaches, audience analysis, outcome measurement, etc.)
  • Learning Authoring tools – Articulate Storyline Suite
  • PowerPoint presentation construction
