IT TECHNICIAN

Summary: The IT Technician focuses on providing high-quality IT services to Alivia Health and its subsidiaries. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical support to end-users, manage IT infrastructure and systems, and ensure that service requests and incidents are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users.
• Manage IT infrastructure and systems.
• Analyze, identify, and resolve technical issues.
• Follow established processes and procedures.
• Guide and train end users.
• Collaborate with other departments and business leaders.
• Participate in project tasks.
• Create, update, and maintain department documentation.
• Rehearse disaster recovery procedures.
• Maintain company infrastructure.
• Conduct routine visits to various locations.
• Drive between Alivia Health locations.
• Be available for on-call duties, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. On call.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required. Bachelor s degree preferred.
• 3 years of previous hands-on technical knowledge and experience (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience working in an end-user desktop support role or computer operations environment (preferred).
• Experience supporting a Windows environment and Network Communications (preferred).
• CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification (preferred).
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Solid problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of operating systems/hardware/software.
• Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to drive between all the Alivia Health locations.
• Ability to install and service equipment located on the floor as well as overhead.
