We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to support the development of critical systems, including the Business Frame, Contact Database (DB), and associated systems such as the PIK and Landing Pad. This role involves architecture design, implementation, onboarding, and DevOps support for AWS, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of these key business components.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture Design & Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure cloud architecture solutions in AWS. Ensure that the systems align with the overall business objectives and best practices in cloud architecture.

DevOps & SecOps Support: Provide comprehensive DevOps and SecOps support, including the configuration of hybrid cloud DevSecOps environments using tools like Terraform, Docker, and Ansible. Ensure secure deployment and management of cloud resources using AWS Secrets Manager, Twistlock, and Docker Content Trust.

Developer Onboarding & Support: Facilitate the onboarding process for developers, providing the necessary tools, resources, and guidance to ensure smooth integration into the cloud environment. Offer ongoing support to developers, helping them navigate the DevOps processes and tools.

Documentation & Planning: Attend planning and solutioning meetings to contribute to strategic decisions. Develop, refine, and maintain architectural diagrams, plans, and documentation to support the ongoing and future development of the Business Frame and associated systems.

Cloud Environment Configuration: Configure and optimize the development environment, ensuring all necessary roles and permissions are correctly assigned. Collaborate with existing cloud engineers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current setup and processes.

Product Delivery: Oversee the delivery of cloud-based products, ensuring they meet the required specifications and performance standards. Implement and monitor continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline product deployment and updates.

Immediate Tasks Upon Start:

Review & Refine Documentation: Assess and refine existing documentation and architectural plans to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with project goals.

Configure Development Environment: Set up the development environment and secure necessary roles and permissions to begin immediate contributions to the project.

Onboarding: Collaborate with existing cloud engineers to integrate into the team, familiarize yourself with ongoing projects, and begin contributing to the cloud architecture and DevOps processes.

Skills & Experience:

Hybrid Cloud DevSecOps: Minimum of 3 years of experience with hybrid cloud DevSecOps using tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Ansible.

Hybrid Cloud Container Platforms: At least 3 years of experience working with hybrid cloud container platforms, including OpenShift, AWS EKS, and Kubernetes.

Full Stack Engineering: 3+ years of experience in full stack engineering, with a strong understanding of cloud-native application development.

DevOps & SecOps Expertise: Proficiency in DevOps practices and SecOps tools, including Terraform, GIT, Docker, AWS Secrets Manager, Twistlock, and Docker Content Trust.

Container Platforms & API Gateways: Expertise in managing and deploying applications on container platforms (OpenShift, AWS EKS, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, Swarm) and experience with API gateways such as AWS API Gateway, NGINX, and Apigee.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Development & Engineering: Strong background in software development and cloud engineering, with the ability to provide technical guidance to developers.

Security Best Practices: Extensive experience with implementing and managing security protocols in cloud environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Certifications: AWS Solution Architect Professional or Certified AWS DevOps Engineer is highly desirable.

Education:

Bachelor s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
