We are hiring for the role of Software test Engineer at Erie, PA. It is an onsite position with two shifts work 1st Shift: 8 am - 4 pm EDT, 2nd Shift: 3 pm -11 pm EDT.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Hardware-Software Integration Testing at Sub-System Level.
  • Determining Test Requirements, Creating New Test Cases, and Schedules for software development.
  • Create meeting to review the data from the testing.
  • Creativity and drive to improve current processes.
  • Being able to work along with a team and communicate projects activities.
  • Onsight working.

Required Skills (Technical Competencies):

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science; or 5 years experience in the field.
  • Hardware and Software Integration Testing
  • Hands-On/ SIM testing.
  • Understanding Test Requirements.
  • Write Test Cases for Multiple Sub-Systems

Desired Skills:

  • Toll Gate Process
  • Understanding of DOORs/ClearQuest
  • Knowledge of RS 422/232 Serial Comm.
  • Strong Analytic and HW Troubleshooting Skills
  • Ability to Interact with multiple stakeholders at all the levels.
