Note: The position can be worked 3-days onsite and 2-days remote per week.

Job Summary: The Software Integrity QA Engineer II will be responsible for planning, designing, maintaining and executing test cases with minimal direction. The Software Integrity QA Engineer II will have the ability to free test, without scripts and tools, will be paramount. Report bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques will be the key to your success. This role requires balancing a wide variety of deliverables that will rely on your talent for managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively and systematically. The Software Integrity QA Engineer II will be in continual dialogue with Development and other teams as necessary. The ability to streamline processes for data collection and systematically parse large data sets will be a huge plus.

The Software Integrity QA Engineer II will have strong coding and testing skills and will develop test strategy and plans for feature areas, automate test cases, and run automation to qualify iQuery products. The candidate will be joining a dynamic team responsible for delivering the best-of-class applications for iQuery platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, designing, maintaining and executing test cases with minimal direction.
  • Reporting bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques.
  • Managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively and systematically.
  • Coding and testing skills to develop test strategy and plans for feature areas, automate test cases, and run automation to qualify iQuery products.
Requirements:

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • 5+ years experience in QA Engineer
  • 3-5 years of experience in product QA environments or relevant experience required. Experience with scripting languages is highly desired
  • Experience with databases, and being able to create programming scripts (Python, JavaScript, SQL) is greatly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology and processes
  • Understanding of application workflow, datasets and outcomes.
  • Utilizing Visio for workflow diagraming ERD creation is a desired skillset.

Qualifications / Certifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science and/or Programming or relative experience.

  • Proficient at balancing multiple efforts simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines
  • Can extract user scenarios from software feature descriptions and requirements to translate them into effective test plans and cases.
  • Proven bug detection, isolation, and regression skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to abstract technical details and effectively communicate to audiences at different levels
  • Understanding of UX principals
