Summary: Seeking a Tool Design Engineer II to design, tolerance, and annotate tooling in a 3D CAD environment for aircraft manufacturing and support.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related curriculum, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 18 months of drafting/design experience in a tool shop or machine shop environment.

  • Strong CAD/CATIA modeling skills with understanding of GD&T.

  • Knowledge of materials, material strengths, heat treat methods, and uses.

  • Experience with Catia V5 or Solid Works.

Preferred Skills:

  • Tool Design experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, tolerance, and annotate tooling in 3D CAD for aircraft manufacturing and support.

  • Collaborate with various engineering teams to determine optimal manufacturing procedures.

  • Present design concepts to a review team from multiple disciplines.

  • Review and check tool designs for conformance to specifications and procedures.

  • Write procedures on the use of tools.



Pay Details: $45.00 to $52.00 per hour
