Work Location: Hybrid (3 days a week at the Pentagon, 2 days remote. Initially, candidates will work onsite 5 days per week to learn the customer s operations before transitioning to the hybrid schedule).

Work Hours: Core hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST;

Position Overview

BizFirst is supporting our client in search of a full-time, permanent Senior ERP Business Analyst. This position will provide crucial support for the Marine Corps P&R Department, assisting in financial management, budgeting, and reporting activities aligned with program objectives and federal guidelines. The Senior ERP Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to optimize business processes, integrate advanced IT solutions, and provide technical expertise to support program analysis, planning, budgeting, execution, and assessment (PPBEA) processes.

Our client is a specialized management consulting firm that engages experienced professionals and consultants to support the federal government with strategic project execution, financial process optimization, advanced IT solutions, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation. Through innovative transformations, they develop and implement strategies to optimize operations for military departments and agencies across the U.S. Federal Government.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support for ERP system implementation and optimization within the Marine Corps P&R Department.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring ERP system enhancements align with program and financial management needs.
  • Support the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in coordination with HQMC business processes within the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) platform.
  • Deliver advanced training and guidance to users on tools such as DAI, Advana, and Power BI, ensuring correct implementation and integration of processes and systems.
  • Assist in developing and managing financial reporting tools like OBIEE, Advana, and Power BI to enhance budget execution and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Monitor and manage budget execution activities for the Budget Execution Branch (RFE), ensuring accurate and timely reporting and adjustment of resources as necessary.
  • Provide expertise in the integration and optimization of ERP systems to support the Marine Corps PPBEA processes.
  • Support the Revenue Generating Program (RGP), advising on financial management related to the use of commercial vendor funds, such as recycling program proceeds and licensing for hunting and fishing activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 8+ years of experience in financial management, ERP system implementation, or business analysis, preferably within a defense or federal government context. Experience with DAI, Advana, and Power BI is required, along with expertise in federal budget execution and analysis processes.
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Skills: Strong understanding of financial processes within federal agencies and experience using ERP and reporting tools such as OBIEE, Power BI, and Advana.

  • Proficiency in integrating and optimizing ERP systems to enhance budgeting, execution, and financial analysis processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively with both government personnel and commercial vendors.
  • Strong communication skills to prepare and present reports, briefings, and detailed financial documentation for program and budget execution.
  • Familiarity with the Department of Defense and Marine Corps financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
