Your role at BHSN:

As an EHR Support Technician, you will primarily be devoted to developing and supporting the agency's EMR, myAvatar as well as supporting agency programs as well as management.

What your day might look like:

  • Manage, gather and document business requirements based upon program requirements and known system functionality
  • Manage creation of new forms and processes within Avatar.
  • Work with programs to achieve business objectives
  • Manage development of process improvement opportunities and efficiencies
  • Manage development of documentation for best practices in methodology
  • Perform testing as necessary; ensuring proper configuration management and change control processes
  • Manage training, coaching, guiding and mentoring Avatar Users
  • Manage identifying, resolving and report solution status, analyze data to determine configuration readiness
  • Aggregate data across multiple systems to create reports, dashboards, etc. to be used to make informed business decisions.

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite or other applications)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfortable presenting to audiences
  • Ability to take initiative and manage multiple detailed tasks in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Healthcare work experience
  • Experience with Crystal Report writing.
  • User experience or familiarity of myAvatar a plus
