CMM Programmer/Machined Parts Inspector
Full Time position for a skilled CMM Programmer to join our team in a manufacturing setting to design and develop CMM programs to achieve accurate measurements of manufactured products.
Responsibilities:
Full Time position for a skilled CMM Programmer to join our team in a manufacturing setting to design and develop CMM programs to achieve accurate measurements of manufactured products.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with quality control personnel to develop programs to meet production requirements.
- Program and set up CMM machines to accurately inspect products to meet stringent tolerances and specifications.
- Develop and write CMM programs for efficient and consistent results.
- Test and debug programs to ensure they meet quality and productivity standards.
- Modify existing programs as needed to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to solve problems as they arise.
- Train and guide operators in the use of the CMM machines and programs.
- Perform measurements and inspections on products using various tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of programs, processes, and results.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Zeiss/Calypso Training completed.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong Knowledge of GD&T.
- 2+ years of experience in programming CMM machines (Zeiss/Calypso).
- Proficient in C++ and other programming languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CAD and CAM software is a plus.
