Salary:

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our FAA AJW-244 team in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical input to support the analysis, development, tracking and adjustment of the budget formulation, current year budget and multiyear financial plans, budget narratives, associated briefings, reports and Electronic Information System (EIS) requirements.
  • Develop automated financial and contract tracking tools.
  • Maintain and update financial and contract management systems.
  • Develop and maintain financial management plans and financial execution plans.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses, project planning and execution, life cycle acquisition planning and management, risk analysis and mitigation plan development.
  • Perform analysis, statistical modeling and a broad range of data gathering to support the analysis of programs and business practices. Analyze metrics to determine organizational effectiveness and goal achievement.
  • Knowledge of survey techniques, devising audience research methods, conducting feedback interviews and applying a wide array of research methods used in gathering such metrics is paramount.
  • Assist in the conduct of investment analysis and operations research studies for programs that support the implementation, development and modernization of the FAA NAS Architecture and that support other aviation activities.
  • Conduct iterative trade-off analysis among cost, schedule, performance and benefits to determine the most advantageous and reasonable solution to a core set of requirements.
  • Post-implementation analysis after systems have become operational to determine consistency with baseline performance assessments.
  • Identify areas of technical risk when translating operational requirements into system level requirements.
  • Develop potential methods of dealing with such technical risk through risk mitigation plans.
  • Perform technical risk assessments of proposed changes in baseline requirements and proposed changes to existing systems.
  • Execute project management to establish project baselines and maintain configured data reporting process to produce accurate project management metrics such as Cost Variance, Schedule Variance, Cost Performance Index, Schedule Performance Index and other project metrics.
  • Responsible for operating and maintaining Earned Value Management processes to manage division projects including project commencement, scope, resources, cost and risk.
  • Classifies and summarizes data for preparation and submission of earned value management reporting.
  • Provide the necessary support to ensure business continuity, including using such systems and applications as DELPHI, Prism, Labor Distribution Reporting (LDR), Cru-X, Federal Personnel Payroll System (FPPS) and the Consolidated Automated System for Time and Labor Entry (CASTLE).
  • Provide assistance with training, updates and procedures to meet the specific needs of the organization.

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of and experience with budget, financial management and analysis required.
  • Proficiency with MicroSoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as Delphi, Regis, Prism and CWP.
  • Must have Tableau experience.
  • Expertise in Excel.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4-8 years relevant experience OR
  • Master's degree in in a related field and 2-6 years relevant experience.

Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required. It is imperative that candidates be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.
