  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are seeking a 1st shift QC Technician II for a 12-month contract opportunity with our client in Irvine, CA! The 1st shift QC Technician II will be responsible to operate, perform maintenance, calibrate, and run test samples on multiple analytical test platforms to support the manufacture controls.

The 1st shift QC Technician II responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot QC Laboratory instrumentation

  • Follow performing good laboratory practices and procedures

  • Order supplies and maintain instrument Preventative Maintenance schedule.

  • Work in a team environment and interface with other departments when required

  • Evaluate assay runs for accuracy and acceptability to Quality Control procedures

  • Enter results into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) as required

  • Job requires working side by side with the Quality Control Specialists in testing products at all stages of the manufacturing process.

The 1st shift QC Technician II requirements:

  • AA or higher in science field or equivalent clinical lab experience.

  • 1 or more years working in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
  • QC testing experience on platforms such as Roche Cobas, Siemens Centaur, Abbott Architect (which includes troubleshooting and maintenance of the instrument); experience with QC instrumentation is a must have.
  • Understands acceptance of data following QC rules.

  • Ability to follow standard procedures in a quick-paced, detail-oriented environment.

  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills are needed.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and LIMS a plus.

  • Clinical experience and/or medical technologist certification is a plus

  • Hours: 7am-4pm Monday-Friday
