APPLICATIONS ANALYST OVERVIEW

As a member of First Western Bank & Trust s Information Technology team the Applications Analyst role will be responsible to provide support for software systems and solutions to end users and customers while ensuring security and integrity of the data and programs that reside within those systems.

  • Assist in deploying existing and new solutions
  • Provide support for users with questions on function, features and usage of system applications
  • Assist with IT support tickets keeping track of recurring issues and common resolutions in each application
  • Complete employee access control and termination requests
  • Work with Applications Officer to monitor and update system applications as needed
  • Train staff on capabilities and usage of system applications
  • Analyze user habits and recommend improvements to procedures
  • Communicate and resolve any discrepancies with systems, user access, or workflows

APPLICATIONS ANALYST QUALIFICATIONS

    • Associate s degree in computer or business-related field or equivalent experience
    • Two years computer or technical support experience preferred
    • Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications and operating systems
    • Knowledge of computer maintenance, software support, network design

APPLICATIONS ANALYST SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Ability to make sound, well-informed and objective decisions to solve problems
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing at all levels of the bank
  • Demonstrate organizational skills and is able to work independently to accomplish goals
  • High level of integrity and the ability to exercise tactfulness in difficult situations
