As technical expert, will apply the necessary technical breadth and depth to drive successful cloud solution offerings and raise the overall technical capabilities of client who will design, engineer, and optimize current and/or emerging technologies for the cloud that will act as a technology thought leaders for our clients. You must be a solid technologist with strong business and architecture acumen who is comfortable working with a technical team as with client business users, and you know how to build bridges between the two. Bring energy and enthusiasm to the job and organization who is flexible, resourceful, figure-it-out-and-get-it-done mentality. Excellent listener; proven collaborator with superiors, peers and staff. With your excellent communications skills, you are adept at mapping business needs to technology solutions and helping non-technical audiences understand the benefits of these solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and engineer various Cloud Architecture utilizing best in-class technologies that will address evolving customer needs and support integration of enhancements to the infrastructure
• Architect by engineering, while driving pilots/proof of concepts and serving as Cloud Subject Matter Expert
• Direct and participate in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development
• Apply high-level business and technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at creative engineering solutions
• Provide guidance on the full life cycle of cloud-based solutions including tools, technologies, and best practices for development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud hosted services
• Evaluate and have a firm understanding of emerging technologies and trends for high performance distributed computing within cloud infrastructures
• Designing architecture with AWS native services (e.g., AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS RDS, AWS CloudFront, AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.) and share best-practice knowledge with peers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum seven years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud solution design and cloud solution implementation
• Minimum of five years of AWS, Azure, or other Cloud providers
• 3+ years of hands-on software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification
• Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, SOC-1&2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GxP, FISMA, FEDRAMP and FDA.
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SOX, HIPPA etc.)
• Experience writing software or scripts in one of the following programming languages (C#, Java, Javascript, Python, PowerShell, C++, Scala) and Very fluent with scripting automation for data extraction, monitoring and bootstrapping
• Experience with designing and building architecture frameworks across one or more of the following domains: Cloud migration, open data, micro services, mobile, user engagement or experience, service interdependencies, and security or risk management
• Architect and deploy security-conscious infrastructure within an AWS
• Experience using and creating custom scripts and applications using the AWS SDK and/or CLI Tools
• Knowledgeable in back-end system design and scalability, including application servers, database servers, hosting, load-balancing, caching, and layered network defense who knows how to deploy applications, services in a cloud environment
• Design and implement reliable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures and solutions.
• Hands-on experience building, delivering, and managing cloud IaaS environments using IaaS platforms such as those provided by AWS, OpenStack, Rackspace, Google Cloud, Eucalyptus, VMWare, and other cloud provider
• Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications and global infrastructure assets
• Demonstrate the capacity to deploy complex infrastructure using CloudFormation and Terraform or other cloud automation tools
• Demonstrate experience in creating complex IAM policies for delegated administration within AWS.
• Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies required
• Excellent planning skills in both tactical and strategic planning
• Excellent presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with C-level executives, IT Management, and developers
• Experience with working multiple concurrent projects is essential and adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
• Strong self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision
