AWC Water Solutions designs and builds complete packaged and modular water and wastewater treatment systems for municipal and industrial applications. Our team has decades of experience and have developed a reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality water and wastewater solutions.

Our in-house engineering team work collaboratively with our clients to select the best process and design a custom package to reliably meet their environmental, financial and quality standards requirements. We also offer clients advanced in-house consultation, project management, engineering & design, 3D modeling and piloting services.

AWC Water Solutions has over 40 years of history and we have designed, manufactured and delivered over 500 water and wastewater treatment plants across North America and internationally. AWC Water Solutions is a division of AWC Solutions.

Overview

AWC Water Solutions has enjoyed double-digit revenue growth over the past several years. We have recently increased our production capabilities and are constantly adding new technologies to our portfolio of water and wastewater treatment solutions. We are targeting further accelerated growth across North America over the next several years.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Subject Matter Expert to become a key member of the AWC Water Solutions team. The Senior Subject Matter Expert will be responsible for providing expert level technical input to all aspects of our water and wastewater treatment plant engineering and design, overseeing our R&D program and supporting our business development activities.

Responsibilities

Provide technical input and ongoing design guidance to our project engineering and design teams at varying stages of project execution for our water and wastewater treatment plants.

Support our applications engineering process, including contributing to aspects of water and wastewater treatment process initial design.

Collaborate with our management team, business development team and current and potential clients to help drive new business and project awards.

Provide technical presentations and training to clients, employees and other stakeholders.

Support and perform bench scale jar testing and pilot system testing.

Oversee various R&D initiatives to maintain our position as a technology leader.

Requirements

Minimum 15 years technical experience in the water and wastewater industry in North America.

Minimum 5 years directly involved in the design, manufacturing and operation of water and wastewater treatment capital equipment. Experience with both municipal and industrial applications would be an asset.

In-depth technical understanding of all major water and wastewater treatment processes.

Advanced degree in water or wastewater treatment field and/or Professional Engineer designation.

Strong existing client relationships and knowledge of the various industry participants including business drivers and organizational models.

Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects at varying stages of completion.

Hands on, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced business environment.

Excellent oral and written communication.
