Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Leasing Administrator to join our team. This full-time role provides administrative support for our portfolio of commercial properties and offers a competitive salary with benefits. Candidates must have 2+ years of commercial leasing environment. Reporting to the Manager of Commercial Leasing, you will work with a dynamic team of five.
About Investment Concepts, Inc.:
Located in Orange, CA, Investment Concepts, Inc. (ICI) is a respected property management firm with 50 years of experience. We manage a diverse portfolio of 29 commercial properties across Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon. These properties, comprising approximately 1.75 million square feet, feature ~600 tenants including Rite Aid, Michaels, Starbucks, Target, Vons, and more.
Leasing Department:
Our team oversees all lease transactions both new and existing for the entire commercial portfolio.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide administrative support for the leasing department
- Maintain internal databases and reports
- Review and abstract complex lease documents
- Screen calls and assist with prospect walk-ins
- Support marketing efforts and update listing services
- Manage broker listing agreements and process invoices
- Handle filing, document distribution, and tracking of construction progress
- Draft lease documents, proposals, and process lease applications
- Conduct property tours as needed
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial real estate experience (residential experience not applicable)
- Strong understanding of retail/NNN lease contracts
- Detail-oriented with the ability to draft and review complex documents
- Positive, professional demeanor
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to type at least 45 WPM
