  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Alivia Health, the #1 pharmacy in Puerto Rico, is seeking a IT Jr. Developer to join our #FuerzaAlivia.

Summary: This role is crucial for developing, coding, and testing solutions and reports, directly impacting operational efficiency and patient care. We prioritize our patients and uphold values of quality, collaboration, commitment, honesty, and humanity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software applications and reports.
  • Propose improvements to current systems.
  • Conduct testing to ensure the quality and accuracy of reports.
  • Maintain code quality and automation.
  • Integrate new technologies into existing systems.
  • Participate in project meetings to report progress and address potential roadblocks.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technology developments.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient health information.
  • Create reports and dashboards using Power BI and other data visualization tools.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical directions in simple, clear language.
  • 1-2 years of experience in software development.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Bachelor s degree in computer sciences, information systems, or related fields.
  • Technical knowledge in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with database management and basic querying languages (e.g., SQL, DAX, PowerQuery).
  • Basic knowledge in PowerBI, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS.
  • Basic knowledge in data modeling and data warehousing.
