As a frontend engineer on the AWS Supply Chain team, you'll be responsible for building the design system and user interfaces that power a suite of innovative new apps and services. This is a highly visible opportunity to make a significant impact on the user experience across the entire Supply Chain organization.

The team you'll be joining is building the design system that will be used by all development teams in the Supply Chain org. You'll work closely with designers to turn mockups into beautiful, responsive UIs using the latest frontend technologies. The primary tech stack includes React, GraphQL, and various UI libraries and tooling.

Your day-to-day will involve designing and implementing complex UI components, integrating with backend services through GraphQL, and continuously improving the design system to ensure a cohesive experience. You'll also have the opportunity to influence the overall frontend architecture and mentor junior engineers as the team grows.

This is a unique chance to be an early member of a startup-like team within the scale and resources of AWS. You'll get to tackle challenging UX problems, experiment with new technologies, and ship features rapidly. As a frontend engineer on the AWS Supply Chain Design System team, you can expect to:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience

- 2+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience

- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of agile software development methodology experience

- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
