RQ08081 - Systems Analyst - Senior

Scope:

• The Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) requires a senior systems analyst with application knowledge of Dynamics F&O, CE and knowledge of accounting principles to assist in the migration of financial data and creation of new financial reports.
  

Assignment Deliverables:

As a member of the data migration team, you will help the data migration:

• Data Analysis: analyze the existing data in the legacy financial applications, understand its structure, quality, and relationships and help in designing an appropriate migration strategy;.
  
• Data Extraction: help extract the required data from the legacy application, develop and implement extraction processes to retrieve data from various sources, such as databases, files, APIs, or other relevant legacy financial systems;
  
• Data Cleansing and Validation: cleanse and validate the extracted data to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Help with identifying and resolving data quality issues, performing deduplication, and applying business rules to ensure the integrity of the migrated data;
  
• Data Testing and Quality Assurance: assist with testing of migrated financial data to verify its accuracy and integrity. Provide assurance from an accounting point of view for the migration of financial data into Dynamics F&O and CE.
  
• Reporting: help with the creation of reports in Dynamics F&O.
  
• Ongoing Support: provide post-migration support, analyze and address data-related issues or questions; help optimize data management processes in the new environment;
  
• Other duties as assigned;
  

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Haves:

• Experience configuring Dynamics 365 F&O
  
• Knowledge of accounting frameworks such as IFRS
  

Skill Set Requirements:

• Experience working in Dynamics CE
  
• Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, translating business documents into technical specifications
  
• Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
  
• Good working knowledge of Dimensions and Facts
  
• Knowledge of multidimensional structures (cubes)
  
• Ability to gather, review and provide feedback to business requirements
  

Dynamics 365 F&O:

• Experience with Dynamics Finance and Operations, including understanding of its data structure, functionalities, and best practices.
  
• Experience with creating reports from within F&O
  

Accounting Knowledge:

• Knowledge of accounting principles and frameworks (e.g. IFRS)
  
• Understanding of financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  

Dynamics 365 CE:

• Experience with Dynamics CE, including understanding of its data structure, functionalities, and best practices.
  
• Experience with creating reports from within CE
  

Azure Cloud ad SQL Databases:

• Azure cloud foundational knowledge
  
• Experience querying SQL databases, working with large datasets via SQL.
  

DevOps and Agile Methodology:

• Demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps and Agile methodology
