POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President of MSO Operations will oversee all operational aspects of the Managed Services Organization, including claims operations and MSO support operations. This role will involve leading and managing operational teams to ensure efficient and effective service delivery, optimizing operational processes, and supporting the organization s strategic goals. The Vice President of MSO Operations will work closely with senior leadership, IPA member providers, and other stakeholders to drive operational excellence. The Vice President of MSO Operations will report to the CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES-DUTIES

1. Operational Leadership:

Provide strategic direction and leadership for all MSO operations, including claims processing, provider support, and administrative functions.

Develop and implement operational strategies and initiatives that align with the organization s goals and objectives.

Ensure efficient and effective service delivery across all operational areas.

2. Claims Operations Management:

Oversee the management of claims processing operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Develop and implement claims processing policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce errors.

Monitor claims performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.

3. MSO Support Operations:

Lead and manage MSO support operations, including credentialing and customer service.

Develop and implement support processes and systems to enhance provider satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of support operations, making necessary adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.

4. Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Utilize data analytics to track and measure operational performance, identify trends, and develop targeted intervention strategies.

Implement best practices and industry standards to drive continuous improvement.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and mentor a team of operational professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to support staff development.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with internal stakeholders, including clinical, finance, and IT teams, to ensure alignment and integration of operational efforts.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to promote operational goals and achievements.

Represent the organization at industry conferences and meetings as needed.

7. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements related to MSO operations.

Stay current with changes in healthcare regulations and implement necessary changes to operational policies and practices.

Oversee the development and implementation of compliance-related training programs.

8. Financial Management:

Develop and manage the MSO operations budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Monitor and report on budget performance and financial outcomes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master s degree preferred).

Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Extensive knowledge of claims processing, provider support, and healthcare operations.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Proficiency in operational software and tools, including claims management systems and data analytics platforms.
