As the company scales its product offerings and expands its market presence, they are seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead strategic vision, optimize operations, and drive user engagement and revenue growth.

Position Overview:

The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for defining the company's vision, driving product innovation, and managing all aspects of the organization’s growth in the SaaS landscape. This role requires a seasoned executive with deep expertise in the SaaS industry, experience in a private equity-backed environment, and a proven record of delivering growth through product development, customer success, and digital engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a growth strategy aligned with private equity goals to drive market share, product adoption, and recurring revenue.
  • Product Innovation: Oversee product roadmap, development, and release strategies, ensuring software solutions meet evolving market needs and customer demands.
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage the company’s financial health, including budgeting, forecasting, and maximizing profitability through efficient SaaS operations and revenue management.
  • Customer Success & Retention: Lead strategies to enhance customer success and retention, including user engagement initiatives, onboarding processes, and support services.
  • Expansion & Market Development: Identify and pursue growth opportunities, including new verticals, geographic expansion, and M&A activity aligned with private equity objectives.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build strong relationships with private equity partners, board members, clients, and vendors, ensuring alignment on company performance and strategic direction.
  • Talent Development: Foster a high-performance culture within the product, development, and customer success teams, attracting and retaining top SaaS talent.
  • Industry Positioning: Represent the company at industry events and with strategic partners, positioning it as a leader in the SaaS space.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and business intelligence to drive product optimization, customer insights, and overall business performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of executive leadership experience in the SaaS industry, with experience in private equity-backed organizations preferred.
  • Proven success in driving SaaS growth, optimizing customer engagement, and maximizing ARR and MRR metrics.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, product development, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Financial expertise with experience overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation within a private equity context.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with board members, private equity partners, clients, and internal teams.
  • Experience leading product expansions, strategic partnerships, and M&A activities.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach and a passion for digital innovation.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to oversee company operations and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
